Your Comments

When you approach horses head on, stop about 30 yards in front of them and let them pass. When Overtaking horses make sure that the rider sees you. Approach slowly. Talking in a soft, or natural voice will help to calm the horses. It works equally well on the horseback riders.

Slow down for blind corners, and when approaching hikers.

15 Miles per hour is the speed limit on fire roads in the park. Try to minimize trail damage. Avoid skids, spin outs and riding when the trails are muddy.

You will see more wildlife if you are quiet while riding.

Be aware of which trails are closed to bikes. Trail maps are available at Park Headquarters, and the campground kiosks. Have a good time.
