Apple Lane Orchard grows, picks, processes and sells their apples locally to the merchants and visiting tourists of Julian. Locaed 1/2 mile East of the US Post Office. It is owned and operated by Tyler and Janet Johnson and children. A cider press is onsite and Apple Lane Orchard and Meyer's Orchard work together in making fresh cider from the local harvest of apples and pears while in season. Apples and Cider are available for purchase from the Orchard from July through November. U-Pick Orchards:.
Calico Ranch, U-pick, 9:30 am to 5 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. (619)586-0392. They are the largest orchard in Julian. They have 130 varieties of apples. Should have apples for picking through the month of October.
