It is a small town. Around 3000 people live in and around Julian.
Clean, clear air. We are above the smog of the big city.
Four seasons.
Mother Nature is all around you. We(San Diego County) are in a major flyway for bird migration. It is only a matter of time before you buy a bird identification book. We support a store that has nothing but bird stuff.
Our clear skies make stargazing a town hobby.
Neighbors help one another. We know we are somewhat isolated so we take care of one another.
Near the Ocean. We are 1 1/2 hours drive from the Pacific Ocean.
Real near the desert. We are 20 minutes from the Anza Borrego Desert.
California attitude. Yes we are a small town and we know about other people's business but we don't care what you do as long as you don't hurt someone else. We are very tolerant of individuals.
