Take Highway 8 West. First you will pass the Mt. Laguna Recreation Area off ramp. Then you come to the Pine Valley off ramp *** this off ramp says it goes to Julian but don't take it unless you want to wander through Pine Valley*** The next off ramp says Japatul Rd. Take this off ramp and turn right. Go through Descanso and a mile or so after there is a Left Hand turn you take. This is Highway 79 to Julian. Stay on this and in about a 1/2 hour you will come to a T intersection. Take a left into Julian.
