Apples: First brought to Julian in the 1870. All about Apples in Julian Daffodils: Julian Organizations have planted 50,000 daffodil bulbs over the last 10 years. They bloom usually from late February through March. I will post the best times on my Julian Today page. Lilacs: The lilacs bloom in April usually. I will post on my Julian Today page when they are peaking. This year(1998) they are late because of the late snows we received. The only way to make a Lilac bloom last more then three days is to take a photo of it. One of our growers tried about 80 different combinations and couldn't find one that worked. |
